I particularly like this arrangement of her framed collection of Old Master drawings.
This gray appears to look great with many different wood tones. Of course, the ebony floors anchor everything. My next house....
Moore Silver Fox paint from other sources:
Wonderful with these deep gold window panels. Love the rug. Notice the rug runs from living room through to dining space.
Use silver fox in combination with a soft white to create wall panel effect. Very elegant.
What a great paint color for a tiny space. Love this arrangement. And... love the frame leaning on the mantel with the starburst mirror hanging. And.. the cowhide... which gets me thinking about....
...my living room project!! You saw this coming.
My daughter and husband found THE CHAIR last weekend. Ok.. maybe I had a bit of influence over it all, but who wouldn't love this chair.
It was a one-off. A floor sample.. sitting there with a shockingly low price tag.. waiting to come home with us. Yes, it was puppy love. Just the one I had been searching for but could not find. I wanted a modern take on the wing chair. I have to say though, these pictures don't show the blue-gray color well. It looks almost periwinkle in the pictures.
Yes, those are real nails for the nailheads. Cool.
The outer chair is wrapped in burlap while the inside is a blue-ish gray linen. Down lumbar pillow and seat cushion.
What a find!
While the blue-ish gray linen is just lovely, having the lumbar pillow in the same fabric was just too much of a good thing. So, this fabric will re-cover the pillow. I've searched high and low for an ottoman to accompany my wonderful chair, but just cannot find it. I'm having an upholsterer custom built on to my specification - mainly it's the dimensions I'm trying to achieve. It will be fully upholstered with a slip cover look. (don't want to actually slip cover due to it constantly shifting with folks putting their feet up or sitting on it). The corners will have inverted box pleats to the floor. Since nothing in the room is skirted, thought the ottoman would be nice in full length fabric . It will be covered in a dark blue, linen-look, lightweight upholstery.
This weekend I'll be taking my son back to college after winter break. I think a trip to Ikea is in place for the cowhide rug.
oh... and I'm thinking about painting the columns Silver Fox. Gotta put it somewhere!
